Story of Stuff

Story of stuff

The planet is a society is including all kind of people there are   problems solvers and parents, scientist, working to create a healthier world. Trying their best to save the planet from pollution and, health from toxic. A job should not be lifted to scientists only, government regulators or even professional environmental activists. (Mercola's, 2007).  People are on the front lines of pollution production, if each human started fixing from him, it will be the end of a toxic pollution environment. This essay explains the five steps that each product go thought from its beginning until it reaches the consumers hands, and how it affects UAE society. As describe in the

(Story of  Stuff 2007).

Firstly, Extraction which mean to take out the planet’s resources such as plants, wood, coal, water , fossil fuel , animals and soil out of the earth starting their trips over the materials economy .  But the issue here is multilateral too much stuff used by people, processes which extract all stuff lead to extra harm while stuff not shared equitably. Environment, destroyed and wasted the material also the ecosystems been damaged by this processes used to extract all that stuff as mountain top removal mining, bottom trawling fishing, clear cutting forests been trashed. Furthermore Health problems as asthma, respiratory and cardiovascular illnesses, autoimmune diseases, liver failure, cancer and other ailments are linked to extractive industries because of pollution, toxics and water degradation.

The Second step, Production is energy used to make stuff which may include harmful chemicals to the natural production systems used wide amount of natural materials, energy, water and chemical compounds to creat pollution, work and community health troubles and products, many of which include toxics known to be harmful to human health as the Environment which included water depletion, climate change, toxics pollution and waste .As long toxics been used by human production systems: air, water, stuff and food are taxied out of defilement and consumer products. Which cause many diseases from canter to disruption of our neurological and hormonal systems, are so current that they are routinely found in each body examined, even modern born babies.

Thirdly, Distribution concerned transported and sold each stuff fast and inexpensive. The aim was saved prices lower; people purchased and stored the materials flow moved .A opener Strategy businesses used to hold prices low is to consider costs. That means that the value tags on customer products don’t captivate the real is values and classified all this stuff. More environmental impacts created by distributed all this stuff. Energy is a used to Carrey every stuff round the universe as well as for bright and temperature controlled by all the stores and malls. The disappointment of certain large saleable shops to deliver passable wellbeing treatment for labors is fortunate recognized. Low salaried stock employees are required health care charges, stress increased and divert already short get from extra simple requirements and may set by workers’ long-term health. (Story of  Stuff 2007)

Fourth stage, consumption: stream consumption patterns are unmaintainable and unfair and should not stay the same way. But the attitude and the behavior of costumers changed it repeatedly. Yes, when shopped the minimum damaged product available difficulty should paid; mean our selections at the shops pre-determined and narrow by political and institutional forces beyond the store. ( Story of  Stuff 2007)  To change these, society need to think out of the box and reclaim their self's as involved citizens in a community. Furthermore, over consumption our mental and physical health impacts more stressed, unhappy and long-work hours to paid for it all.

Lastly, Disposal materials economy ultimately end up as waste to be disposed someplace in the world through virtually all the resources flow, dumped or burned or recovered for recycle usually. As the quantity and harmfulness of waste grow, recycle can’t resolve the whole problem. Waste needs to be designed out of the system from the begin through cleaner production, composited, better product design, recycle and used less overall stuff. The air, land and water been dumped and burned waste pollutes; releases potent greenhouse gases; wastes resources that could have been conserved and diverts attention and funding away from real solutions. Materials and energy conserves recycled, but is frequently itself an unclean process and aren’t always conceivable with today’s combination of toxic and weakly designed products.

In the past couple years; the UAE consumption rate has increased dramatically due to inflation and many other factors. According to the UAE national bureau of statistics, the consumer price index has increased from 107.75 index points in 2008 to 117.41 in 2013. The numbers clearly indicates that the prices paid for goods and services has grown in the past couple years. (Gerson. 2008) The increase happened because of many factors like an increase in demand for goods or services or decrease in the value of currency. (Kennon)

In the world there is pollution so many kinds and there is who try to diminish this pollution, all layers in the society are affected by this toxic all over. The steps that each product goes through are receiving or producing chemicals and toxics which include women who are mother of babies. The solution to this problem comes from each member before the government.
